The Nebraska Lincoln Highway Historic Byway

The Nebraska Lincoln Highway Historic Byway is Nebraska’s portion of the Lincoln Highway – America’s first transcontinental highway, first laid out in 1913.

This original brick section at Elkhorn, “stairsteps” in Dawson and Lincoln Counties, and the main streets of many of the communities along the Byway.

Any time of year is great for a road trip on the Lincoln Highway.
